Position: Legal Consultant

Our team is expanding, and we are seeking to hire a qualified a Legal Advisor/Consultant with experience in corporate and commercial law in Cyprus for our office in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

• Give legal advice on work contracts, dismissals, and employee rights.

• Make sure the company follows Cypriot labour laws and best practices.

• Handle immigration rules for hiring foreign workers in Cyprus.

• Handle company registration and incorporation processes.

• Draft legal documents and agreements related to company formation and governance.

• Offer legal advice to the company and its clients on corporate matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate work and service agreements.

• Prepare contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.

• Advise on workplace issues and legal compliance.

• Help resolve internal disputes and work with lawyers if court action is needed.

• Ensure employee and candidate data is handled legally under GDPR and labour laws.

• Support compliance checks and help apply internal data protection policies.

• Provide legal advice on business operations and regulatory requirements.

• Update HR and management on changes in labour and immigration laws.

• Guide teams on legal matters related to managing staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law.

• Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or related will be considered as an advantage.

• Successful completion of the Cyprus bar exam and eligible to be registered as a qualified lawyer.

• Previous experience working as a Legal Advisor or related position.

• Knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

• Proficiency in English and Greek languages (both written and verbal).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.

• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience in litigation and compliance is a plus.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

• Knowledge of MS Office package.
