We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a 7-year-old child with special needs (semi-verbal), currently in kindergarten and preparing to transition to school in September 2026. Role Overview This is a position (07:30 – 15:00), Working hours include 1-1.5 hours preparation of materials and reports, based in Limassol, Cyprus. The LSA will play a key role in supporting the child’s academic, social, and daily school routine. Key Responsibilities * Provide in-class support to the child during lessons * Assist with learning tasks, focus, and engagement * Support adaptation to the school environment and daily schedule * Accompany and supervise the child during breaks, lunch, and outdoor activities * Ensure the child’s well-being and safety throughout the school day * Assist the student with arrival and departure from school (driving licence is a plus) * Work closely with teachers, SEN department, and external specialists * Provide regular feedback and reports to parents * Support at home during sick days (same working hours) or school breaks * Maintain strict confidentiality and sign an NDA Candidate Profile * Legal working permit in Cyprus * Experience as an LSA, SEN teacher, or working with children with special needs * Hands-on experience working with children with ASD or similar developmental profiles would be an advantage * Willingness to work within structured behavioural or developmental support frameworks (ABA experience is a plus) * Understanding of additional needs and child development * Proactive, energetic, positive, and responsible personality * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to follow structure while remaining flexible and proactive in approach * The candidate must have excellent command of English * A degree in Primary Education or SEND is a strong advantage * Police background check and medical clearance * Non-smoker * Long-term commitment Required What We Offer * Competitive salary above market level * Performance-based bonuses * 21 days of annual leave * Official employment with a full contract and social insurance * Supportive and collaborative working environment Salary: from €2,300 NET per month (for an exceptional SEN teacher-level candidate, salary can be discussed individually) Additional opportunity: For interested candidates, there may also be an option to add after-school support at home, with an appropriate lunch break and a corresponding increase in salary. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, and owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with a focus on speed, reliability, and zero-downtime deployments. Architecting and fine-tuning highly available, fault-tolerant systems on Google Cloud — including load balancing, auto-scaling groups, multi-region failover, and disaster recovery strategies. Proactively managing cloud costs through resource right-sizing, committed use discounts, autoscaling policies, and infrastructure spend analysis — with measurable impact on monthly GCP bills. Owning Kubernetes cluster operations: tuning resource requests/limits, configuring HPA/VPA, managing node pools, and optimizing workload scheduling for both performance and cost. Building and enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform — no manual console changes. Defining and maintaining SLOs/SLIs, setting up alerting strategies, and driving incident response and post-mortems.
