Vrissiana Beach Hotel is seeking a SUSHI CHEF to join its Kitchen team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about Japanese cuisine, sushi preparation, and delivering exceptional dining experiences in a beachfront hotel environment.
Duties
• Preparing and presenting sushi dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
• Assisting in the preparation of fresh fish, seafood, rice, sauces, and other ingredients
• Ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of sushi station and kitchen areas
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control
• Proper storage and labeling of food items
• Collaborating with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operation
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
